Walden Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Crofton, Maryland.
Walden Golf Club first opened for play in 1969.The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. Lindsay Ervin added nine holes and redesigned the entire course in 1990.
The course is highlighted by its sloped greens. Five different sets of tees are available, so every skill level should be tested by this course. Water hazards come into play on fifteen holes.
Walden Golf Club plays to 6,400 yards from the back tees. The course rating is 72.1 and the slope rating is 132.

Has the makings of top, premium course. But the grass is much too thin on both fairways and rough. Needs a lot of attention. If it gets it, it could be one of the best in the area.

Greens aerated- no mention while booking the round, and the most aggressively aerated and sanded greens I have seen. One one hole we were searching for the green for 3 mins before my partner realized the big bunker in the middle... Was the green. No hope on putts- be it 8 feet or 8 inches
